For solo locksmiths

For the locksmith who is also the receptionist.

When you're under a dashboard or driving, the phone still rings. LockCommand answers it, books the job and gets you paid, so a one-person shop stops losing calls to the next number on the list.

One person, every call answered

An illustration of how the app fits a solo day, not a customer story. The times are made up; what happens at each one is how LockCommand works.
  1. 8:10 a.m.

Hands in a door, phone in your pocket

You're rekeying a rental when a call comes in. The AI answers with your greeting, asks for the address and the car, quotes your car lockout range and books it. The job is on your phone before you've packed up.
  2. 9:05 a.m.

    On the way

You mark the job on the way and the customer gets a text from your shop number with how many minutes out you are.
  3. 9:30 a.m.

    ID, proof, signature

Registration is in the glove box. You open the car, photograph the ID and the registration, and the customer signs on your phone. It's saved on the job with the time and place.
  4. 9:40 a.m.

    Paid at the curb

You send the invoice by text. The customer pays by card into your own account, or by Venmo or Cash App. The receipt goes out, and a review request follows two hours later.
  5. 1:15 p.m.

    A call in Spanish

Set to English and Spanish, the AI switches when the caller speaks Spanish and books the job the same way.
  6. 7:20 p.m.

    A night lockout

The AI quotes the range plus your after-hours surcharge and books it. You decide whether to take it, from the couch.
  7. 10:05 p.m.

    Someone wants the owner

A property manager asks for a person. The AI transfers the call to your cell.

Good to know on Solo

  • Every job is yours

The live map and AI dispatch come with Dispatch plans. On Solo, jobs land on your phone.

  • ID checks can be a rule

“Require ID check before completing” is in Shop details, so a solo shop can make it mandatory too.

  • Your number stays

Forward your business line to your AI number all the time, or only when you're busy or don't answer.

  • Out of minutes

Calls are paid from your wallet credit. With an empty wallet, calls ring your cell instead.

Solo questions

What do I get on the Solo plan?
Every feature except the dispatch board and AI dispatch: the AI receptionist on your own local number, 200 AI minutes a month, customer texts, invoices and pay links, ID and proof, reports and QuickBooks Online sync. It's $149.99 a month for one user.
How many calls do the included minutes cover?
It depends on how long your calls run. 200 minutes is about 66 calls if they average three minutes. After that, calls are paid from your wallet credit per minute, and the pricing page has a calculator.
Can I make ID checks a rule on Solo?
Yes. Turn on “Require ID check before completing” in Shop details, and no job can be marked complete until you've recorded ID and proof of ownership.
Can I still answer some calls myself?
Yes. Turn the AI off any time, or set your carrier to forward to the AI only when you're busy or don't answer. Callers who ask for a person are transferred to your cell.
What if I hire a tech later?
Move to a Dispatch plan. Dispatch 3 gives you 3 users with any roles, the live map and AI dispatch.
Do I need a computer?
No. LockCommand runs on your phone. Calls, jobs, ID checks, invoices and texts all happen in the app.

Let the AI pick up.
